After months of anticipation and a huge marketing build-up, the Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 has finally arrived. Marketed as "10 years in the making" and promising "iconic showstopping products," the calendar generated considerable buzz—though initial reactions to the reveal were somewhat mixed. Retailing at £105 (or £95 for Look Fantastic Beauty Box subscribers), this year's edition contains 28 products worth £655, with 17 full-sized items included.
The packaging has undergone a welcome redesign this year. Gone is the cumbersome structure of previous editions, replaced with a sleek red box that opens more efficiently and requires less storage space. The plain red exterior is elegant without being overly festive, and while the internal drawers aren't the sturdiest, the overall presentation is a marked improvement. Let's explore what treasures await behind each door.
Day 1 - Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Marine Cream - worth £38
The Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Marine Cream kicks off the calendar with a luxurious start. This is the rose-scented version of the iconic Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, a favourite among skincare enthusiasts for its ability to smooth fine lines and deliver lasting hydration. Clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in just 14 days, this 15ml deluxe size offers instant and 24-hour moisture. While the rose scent may not appeal to everyone, the formula's effectiveness makes it a worthy opening gift.

Day 2 - Aveda Botanical Repair Strengthening Leave-In Treatment - worth £36
A full-size 100ml bottle of Aveda's plant-powered damage repair treatment follows on day two. Applied to damp hair after cleansing, this leave-in formula instantly strengthens and repairs from within whilst detangling to prevent breakage. It also provides heat protection up to 230°C, making it ideal for those who regularly style with hot tools or maintain colour-treated hair. The generous size means this product will last for months!

Day 3 - L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream - worth £10
The L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream is a delightful inclusion for day three. This 30ml tube contains 20% shea butter and delivers deep nourishment without the greasy residue that many hand creams leave on your skin. The scent is pleasantly subtle rather than overpowering, and the compact size makes it perfect for popping in your handbag. It's a practical addition that will definitely come in handy during the winter months.

Day 4 - REN Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream - worth £49
REN's Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream appears in full size on day four. This 15ml treatment targets dark circles, dehydration, and dullness with a blend of elderberry flower extract, glycogen, and hyaluronic acid. The formula works to brighten and smooth the delicate eye area whilst improving skin tone and luminosity. It's also worth noting that REN recently ceased trading, making this one of the last opportunities to try their products.

Day 5 - Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist - worth £24
The full-size 90ml Sol de Janeiro fragrance mist in Cheirosa 62 brings a burst of warmth on day five. This pistachio and salted caramel scent features top notes of pistachio and almond, heart notes of heliotrope and jasmine petals, and a base of vanilla, salted caramel, and sandalwood. While the fragrance has become ubiquitous in recent months, it remains a gorgeous scent that captures the essence of summer year-round. For those familiar with the brand, it shares the same scent profile as the popular Bum Bum cream - one of my all time faves!

Day 6 - Glow Hub Buff Blush Glow Up Color Stick in Poppin - worth £12
Glow Hub's Buff Blush Stick is next up in the vibrant Poppin shade. This full-size cream blush stick is surprisingly versatile, doubling as a multi-balm for lips, eyes, and cheeks. Infused with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E, it offers skincare benefits alongside a dreamy flush of color. The formula is super blendable and delivers a diffused finish that's perfect for summer looks. The warm peachy tone would suit a variety of skin tones.

Day 7 - The Nue Co. Magnesium Ease Sleep Support Body Spray - worth £20
Day seven introduces The Nue Co.'s Magnesium Ease Spray, a 15ml soothing treatment designed to relieve muscle tension and promote restful sleep. Each three sprays deliver 40 micrograms of magnesium alongside lavender and arnica oils. The formula helps restore pH balance, reduce lactic acid buildup, and support hydration. The aromatic lavender scent creates a tension-relieving experience perfect for evening routines. Though fairly small, the product offers surprising longevity.

Day 8 - Revolution The True Icon Eyeshadow Palette - worth £8
Revolution's The True Icon eyeshadow palette makes an appearance on day eight. This full-size palette contains 12 shades in a mix of matte, shimmer, and cream formulations housed in rose gold packaging. The neutral colour selection includes versatile everyday tones alongside more dimensional sparkly shades. Initial swatches show the shades have decent pigmentation and blendability, though Revolution products can be hit or miss in terms of performance. The palette is both vegan and cruelty-free.

Day 9 - Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion - worth £4.50
Aveeno's Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion offers 50ml of clinically proven hydration for day nine. This unscented formula is designed to relieve very dry and tight skin, providing 72 hours of moisture whilst helping to restore and strengthen the protective skin barrier. The triple oat complex and shea butter combination makes it particularly suitable for winter weather when skin needs extra protection. Aveeno's products consistently deliver effective results at an accessible price point.

Day 10 - Espa Overnight Hydration Therapy - worth £39
The full-size 55ml Espa Overnight Hydration Therapy is in day ten. This intensive treatment mask works to intensely hydrate, reinforce the skin barrier, and leave skin looking radiant and replenished. The formula combines cognac root and hyaluronic acid to smooth and hydrate, with vitamin C added to boost radiance. Applied until the formula turns white, it absorbs fully overnight. As with all vitamin A products, SPF protection is essential the following day.

Day 11 - Wella Ultimate Smooth Step Two Intense Mask - worth £8
Wella's Ultimate Smooth Intense Mask appears next as a 30ml deluxe size featuring squalane and omega 9. This step two treatment is designed to smooth, nourish, and add shine to dull, dry, or frizzy hair. The formula nourishes hair from the inside out in just 30 seconds, with smoothness lasting up to three days. Applied to clean, damp hair for 5-10 minutes before rinsing, it serves as an intensive conditioning treatment in place of regular conditioner.

Day 12 - Look Fantastic Toweling Wristbands - worth £6
Look Fantastic's own-brand toweling wristbands provide a practical solution for day twelve. These incredibly soft black wrist cuffs prevent water from dripping down arms during face washing—a small but genuinely useful addition to any skincare routine. While they've appeared in various calendars over recent years, having an extra pair is always handy. The quality feels premium despite the modest price point.

Day 13 - Iconic London Prep Set Blur Setting Mist - worth £26
The full-size 120ml Iconic London Prep Set Blur Setting Mist offers a modern take on the brand's classic formula. Unlike the original Prep Set Glow, this version provides a velvety matte finish designed to lock makeup in place for up to 16 hours. The weightless, water-like formula infuses skin with niacinamide and antioxidants whilst mattifying and keeping shine at bay. It can be used both before makeup as a primer and after application as a setting spray, delivering an airbrushed complexion with continued skincare benefits.

Day 14 - Myvitamins Beauty Coconut and Collagen Supplements - worth approx £7.50
Myvitamins Coconut + Collagen Beauty supplements containing collagen, coconut oil, and vitamin C arrive on day fourteen. The 30-capsule supply provides 15 days of supplementation at the recommended two capsules per day dosage. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for healthy skin function. Supplements can be quite divisive in advent calendars—some appreciate the wellness aspect whilst others prefer traditional beauty products. But do remember, those with dietary restrictions should check the allergen information carefully.

Day 15 - Beauty Pro Eye Therapy Under Eye Mask - worth £2
Beauty Pro's Eye Therapy under eye mask provides a single-use treatment featuring collagen, green tea, and vitamins A and E. This Korean-made mask soothes and cools the under-eye area for a refreshed appearance whilst helping to improve the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles. Left on for 20 minutes, it delivers visible results suitable for all skin types. Beauty Pro masks are consistently reliable and perfect for pre-event preparation.

Day 16 - Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense Serum - worth £59
The full-size 30ml Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense Serum is a standout inclusion on day sixteen. This supercharged hydrating serum combines hyaluronic acid with natural moisturising factors to flood skin with moisture. The triple action complex helps maintain natural hyaluronic acid production, preserve its power, and amplify hydration. Applied to damp skin in the morning and evening (six drops massaged across face, neck, and décolletage), the formula works most effectively when paired with a face mist beforehand, as hyaluronic acid draws water into the skin.

Day 17 - Avant Glycolic Acid Rejuvenating Face Exfoliator - worth £92
Avant's Glycolic Acid Rejuvenating Face Exfoliator appears next as a 50ml deluxe size. This skin-polishing formula contains glycolic acid, proline, serine, alanine, vitamin B5, and papain to buff away dead skin cells and pore-clogging impurities without over-drying. The formula targets acne, blackheads, fine lines, and wrinkles for a smoother, brighter appearance. Gently massaged into skin after cleansing and rinsed with lukewarm water, it's one of the calendar's higher-value inclusions.

Day 18 - Look Fantastic x Spectrum Collections Four Piece Brush Set - worth £24
Day eighteen reveals an exclusive collaboration between Look Fantastic and Spectrum Collections. This four-piece makeup brush set includes foundation, powder, eye, and brow brushes crafted with ultra-soft bristles and sleek handles. The A54, A55, A56, and A58 brushes feature gorgeous coordinating colours and are both vegan and cruelty-free. Spectrum brushes are known for their exceptional quality and longevity, making this collaboration set a genuine highlight of the calendar.

Day 19 - Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel - worth £14
Peter Thomas Roth's Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel is next in a 30ml size. This luxurious facial cleanser helps visibly brighten with glycolic acid and fruit extracts, suitable for all skin types. The formula contains salicylic acid as an exfoliant, making it ideal for use as a second cleanse rather than daily application. It's nice to see a different products in advent calendars other than the usual masks usually included.

Day 20 - Color Wow Color Security Shampoo and Conditioner Duo - worth £22
The double door on day twenty contains Color Wow's Color Security shampoo and conditioner in generous 75ml sizes. The shampoo leaves no residue behind to dull colour, weigh hair down, or impede growth, delivering a 100% clean finish. The conditioner, designed for fine to normal hair, detangles, hydrates, and provides heat protection without dulling or darkening colour. This duo leaves hair feeling exceptionally clean and refreshed—considerably more substantial than typical travel sizes.

Day 21 - Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Mask - worth £55
Rodial's Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Mask provides 50ml of full-size luxury on day twenty-one. This silky gel mask plumps the complexion and maintains hydration levels, providing comfort to dehydrated and dry skin. Dragon's blood helps condition and restore through enhanced hydration, whilst hyaluronic acid retains water for long-lasting moisture. The 3D filling spheres provide three-dimensional hydration to protect against dehydration, and granlux helps blur imperfections whilst squalane conditions and smooths. Applied as a thin layer to cleansed skin and left to absorb, it works beautifully overnight or during travel.

Day 22 - Laneige Hydro UV Defense Ex SPF 50 - worth £13
Laneige's Hydro UV Defense Ex arrives as a 20ml deluxe size offering high SPF 50 protection. This sunscreen protects, hydrates, and soothes skin with Centella Asiatica and hydroionised mineral water. While sunscreen inclusions in advent calendars can divide opinion, daily SPF protection is essential year-round, making this a practical addition for those who maintain consistent sun protection habits.

Day 23 - The White Company Seychelles Candle - worth £12
The White Company's Seychelles votive candle brings a touch of luxury to day twenty-three. This 75g single-wick candle features a soothing aquatic fragrance with nuances of coconut, jasmine, and amber. The scent evokes summer despite the winter timing—a refreshing departure from traditional festive fragrances. It's a nice surprise to see The White Company featured in the Look Fantastic calendar, and Seychelles is one of their most beloved scent profiles.

Day 24 - Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath and Shower Gel
Molton Brown's Fiery Pink Pepper Bath and Shower Gel provides 50ml of luxurious cleansing for Christmas Eve. This formula creates exceptional lather whether used in the bath or shower, delivering a gorgeous scent perfect for a pre-Christmas pamper session. Molton Brown products were once regular advent calendar features but have become less common in recent years, making this inclusion particularly welcome.

Day 25 - MAC Lip Trio: Lip Liner in Spice, Maximal Matte Lipstick in Honey Love, and Clear Lip Glass - worth £67
Christmas Day delivers three full-size MAC products designed to work as a cohesive lip look. The Spice lip liner offers a gorgeous nude-brown shade, perfectly complemented by the Honey Love Maximal Matte lipstick in a flattering rosy nude tone. The clear Lip Glass adds dimension and shine when layered on top. Together, these products create a wearable, everyday lip combination that suits a variety of skin tones. The fact that the trio centers on neutral shades rather than traditional festive red makes it all the more versatile and appealing.

Final Thoughts
The Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 delivers solid value at £105 (or £95 for subscribers), containing £655 worth of products across skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance, and body care. The selection includes an impressive range of full-size items from respected brands, with particular highlights being the Medik8 serum, Elemis moisturiser, Espa overnight treatment, MAC lip trio, and the exclusive Spectrum brush collaboration.
The skincare offering is comprehensive, providing everything needed for a complete routine: cleansers, exfoliator, serum, masks, eye cream, moisturisers, and SPF. The makeup selection, whilst smaller, focuses on staple products with the eyeshadow palette, blush, brushes, setting spray, and lip products. Haircare is well-represented with shampoo, conditioner, leave-in treatment, and a mask in decent sizes. The fragrance and body care categories, whilst less extensive, feature quality products that enhance the overall value.

However, the calendar doesn't quite live up to the "10 years in the making" hype that preceded its launch. The marketing build-up created exceptionally high expectations that the product selection, whilst strong, doesn't entirely fulfil. The transition from last year's Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette to Revolution feels like a noticeable step down in prestige, even if the formula performs adequately. A few additional touches—perhaps a mascara, a larger cleanser, or an extra sheet mask—might have elevated the calendar to truly "iconic" status.
That said, for subscribers getting the £95 price point, the calendar represents exceptional value. The product selection is well-rounded, sizes are generous, brands are recognisable and respected, and there's a pleasing mix of cult favourites alongside newer discoveries. The improved packaging design makes it more practical than previous years, and the inclusion of unexpected brands like The White Company adds welcome variety.
The Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 is undeniably worth the investment—it simply would have benefited from slightly more measured marketing. Without the "10 years in the making" tagline, this would stand as an impressive, well-curated calendar that beauty enthusiasts would be delighted to receive. The substantial number of full-size products, the £550 difference between cost and value, and the quality of brands included make it a strong contender in this year's advent calendar lineup.
